Due to their small dimensions, lightboxes are installed in pedestrian areas such as: city centres, promenades, bus and tram stops, underground stations, and stadiums. They are also used in indoor locations, for instance: shopping malls, administrative entities, hotels, and airports. Lightboxes are often installed as a part of street furniture.
