Due to their small dimensions, citylights are installed in pedestrian areas such as: city centres, promenades, bus and tram stops, underground stations and stadiums. They can also be used for indoor locations, for instance: shopping malls, city government offices, hotels, and airports. Citylights are often installed as an element of the street furniture.
